Varkala, a small seaside town in Kerala, boasts of a pristine, languid  beach and a cliff overlooking the splendour of the Arabian Sea.  Our resort was perched atop the cliff and commanded the most stellar views. The gold-and-pink sunrise and the mauve-and-tangerine sunset will forever remain etched in our memories. The calm, gentle sea waters lapping on the shores…the foam-flecked, palm-fringed coastline stretching for miles on end…the marketplace dotted with shops selling eclectic wares…the multitudinous eateries offering various delectable cuisines…Varkala is forever teeming with touristy activity and enthusiasm.
